Photographer Vincent Agius, who runs Agius Photo Studio, was ordered to refund €1,300 after the Director General for Consumer Affairs found him guilty of not honouring a decision handed down by the Tribunal for Consumer Claims. Agius had failed to provide wedding photos he had taken for his clients because he never finished them.
In a statement, the Director General said that the client had ordered a package which included photos, an album, pre-wedding and post-wedding photos, two small albums and a DVD of the wedding. He said that although the photographer had given her the DVD and a few other things, he never gave her the photos because he had not finished them. The Director general said that he was therefore ordering Agius to pay back the sum of €1,300.
