WATCH: Russian gatecrashed car inside airport building for “love”

One does anything for love. These were the words used by a Russian to defend himself in court after he caused chaos when he gatecrashed his car through an airport building.

Ruslan Nurthdinov created great panic when he drove his car into the terminal of Kazan international airport and continued driving up to one of the departure gates. The incident was filmed by a security camera with airport officials running after the car in a bid to stop the driver.

The 40-year old Russian was arrested and arraigned in Court where he said he had carefully planned his route. “I wanted to arrived at the train’s platform; I was fighting for love”, he told the court. It was the way he wanted to welcome his female partner who was just arriving from abroad.

The Russian was sentenced to 15 days in prison. Fortunately no one was injured in the incident.
