10 finalist singers for JESC 2017 announced

The list has been announced of the 10 finalist singers for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The 10 finalists were selected following auditions made to 20 male and female singers who were chosen from among 84 applicants. The 10 singers will now compete with cover versions during a TVM live transmission, with the winner representing Malta in Georgia next November.

The direct transmission will be on Saturday, 1st July during which it will be members of the public who will choose the winner, through televoting. Although the public will choose the singer who will represent Malta, the selection of the song in Georgia will be in the hands of PBS.

The list of the 10 finalist singers is the following in alphabetical order:
