120 more immigrants boarded on another Captain Morgan vessel – 19 disembarked in Malta

Nineteen immigrants, mostly pregnant women and children, were brought to Malta last night by the Armed Forces.

Television Malta is informed that the immigrants are part of a bigger group who were rescued at sea in the search and rescue area under the responsibility of Malta.

The immigrants who were not brought to Malta – around 120 – were transferred on another Captain Morgan vessel which sailed to pick them up earlier on Friday and will now remain in international waters.

This is the third Captain Morgan vessel which has migrants on board.
