152 new cases of Covid-19 in Malta – and another 103 recoveries


152 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Malta over the past 24 hours after 2,960 swab tests were carried out, and another 103 persons have recovered from the virus.

The Health Ministry announced that today’s cases are still being investigated. Meanwhile, in reference to yesterday’s cases, the authorities confirmed that 23 cases were family members of previously known cases, five cases were contacts of positive work colleagues, and four cases were from direct contacts with other positive cases. Another two cases resulted from social gatherings which included a positive person.
