The Health Ministry has announced that 189 new cases of Covid-19 have been identified in Malta over the past 24 hours after 3,405 swab tests were carried out. It also announced another 107 recoveries from the virus.
In reference to yesterday’s cases, 45 are family members of previously known cases, another 15 cases were contacts of positive work colleagues, and six cases were direct contacts of other positive cases.
Another 15 cases tested positive for the virus as a result of social gatherings with other positive cases.
Today’s cases are still being investigated.
