UPDATE: Employee disrupts theft attempt from Bulebel outlet

An employee in an appliances warehouse at Bulebel disrupted an attempted theft by two hooded persons who entered the building.

A Police spokesperson said that before the warehouse was closed at about 3pm, the employee noted that two persons were in the building and allegedly one was carrying a firearm and the other had a knife. The two fled when they realised the employee was calling for assistance.

Police are investigating the incident.
