20 finalists of MJESC announced

The 20 finalist singers of the Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021 have been announced. The festival’s winner will represent Malta in the 19th edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Paris on the 19th December.

This year’s edition of the MJHEC saw a substantial increase in the number of applications, with PBS deciding that the process is spread in two parts with more jury members to select the submitted songs.

In the process first phase, a number of expert jury members listened to all the songs and decided the first 20 finalists which are being listed hereunder in alphabetical order.

The second phase will resume with another evaluation by a different jury made of local and international personalities. This will lead to the announcement of the 12 finalists on the 26th September, who will participate in the MJESC.

The Malta Junior Eurovision Song Contest final will be held on the 16th October and will be transmitted live on TVM uand tvm.com.mt
