20 people come to blows at Hanover airport

Around 20 people came to blows at Hanover airport in Germany during a demonstration against Turkey’s military operation in Syria.

In the video footage, the people who are protesting can be heard saying that Erdogan is a fascist. They were carrying signs and flags bearing the names of the Iraqi Kurdistan and Rojava – which is the Kurdish name for Northern Syria.

On Twitter, the Hanover police said that two people were slightly injured in the scuffle.  They said that the situation was brought under control within a short time.
