Twenty persons fined for congregating in more than groups of three in public places

Twenty persons have each been fined €100 during routine Police patrols for congregating in groups of more than three persons in public places.

During 589 inspections carried out over the last 24 hours, no persons were found breaching quarantine directives. Since the start of obligatory quarantine enforcement, more than 20,000 inspections have been carried out.

The appeal has been maintained that all are to follow, observe and cooperate with the directives issued by the Authorities.
