204 new Covid-19 cases in Malta, 42 others recovered

The health authorities announced that 204 persons were registered positive to Covid-19 in Malta during the past 24 hours following 2,885 swab tests.

They also announced that 42 other persons have recovered from the virus, while the number of persons who recovered since the pandemic emergence is now 3,184.

4,486 persons tested positive to Covid-19 since March with 1,257 still active cases.

The health authorities said that the new cases are still being investigated.

32 of yesterday’s cases were members of the family who had someone positive to the virus; six were colleagues of infected persons; five were from the Paceville group; seven were in contact with positive persons and two were imported cases.
