20th anniversary of setting up of Gozo Tourism Association

During this year the Gozo Tourism Association (GTA) will be commemorating the 20th anniversary of its foundation.

Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana praised the commitment of the Association, which has been active over the past 20 years not only to strengthen the tourism sector in Gozo but also by working hand in hand with the Ministry and with Government in the drawing up of new proposals and initiatives for this sector.

To commemorate this anniversary, a tree has been planted in the Villa Rundle Garden in Rabat by Minister Caruana, in the presence of the GTA Chairman Mr Paul Scicluna and Council members, and a commemorative plaque has also been unveiled. The Association has also launched a new emblem to coincide with this anniversary.
