25 immigrants disembarked in Malta – were rescued by AFM in Malta’s search and rescue area

25 immigrants were brought to Malta early this morning after they were rescued by the Armed Forces in Malta’s search and rescue area.

tvm.com.mt is informed that the immigrants consisted of sixteen men, while the rest were women and children.

The immigrants were disembarked at the AFM’s maritime base at Haywharf and underwent swab tests before being transport to the detention centre.
