Since its opening in November of 2018, 258 persons have resorted to the Gender Wellbeing Clinic to communicate and discuss their feelings.
This clinic, at the centre of Mtarfa, was established to those who feel they are transgender.
Government MP Oliver Scicluna asked the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Health Chris Fearne for statistics regarding this clinic.
Minister Fearne listed the number of persons that have resorted to this clinic and said that 26 persons had visited during the two months of it opening, 100 in 2019, 64 in 2020 and 68 this year.
There were ten persons who wanted to establish the gender transition process.
