35 immigrants rescued by Turkish coast guard – search underway for other immigrants

35 immigrants were rescued by the Turkish coast guards after taking them on board from a dinghy which was about to sink. A search is underway for four other migrants.

Turkish authorities said that the immigrants alleged that the Greek coast guard damaged their dinghy, took possession of the fuel and placed them in Turkish waters. The allegations were denied by the Greek coast guard.
