35 people injured during flight after plane passed through turbulence

At least 35 people were injured on an Air Canada flight after the plane passed through turbulence.

The airplane, which had 284 passengers on board, was on a flight from Vancouver to Sydney but had to make an emergency landing in Hawaii.

Medical staff examined the passengers as soon as they disembarked, with 35 of them having sustained slight injuries.

Passengers who gave their comments said that those who did not have their seat belts on during the turbulence were thrown upwards and hit their head on the plane’s ceiling.
