Four women to be deported after they were found to be working in a brothel

Four women, three from Ukraine and one from Moldova, were handed a one year prison sentence, suspended for two years and were ordered to be deported after they were found guilty of using a place as a brothel and for activities liked with prostitution.

The women, aged between 26 – 41, appeared in front of Magistrate Claire Stafrace Zammit and were brought to Court by inspectors Roxanne Tabone and John Spiteri.

The Court also ordered the confiscation of the money which was made through their illegal activity.
