47 persons tested 10 times for COVID-19

47 persons were tested for Covid-19 for ten times, according to deputy Prime Minister Chris Fearne while replying to a parliamentary question.

Giving an account on the nationality of persons confirmed with Covid-19 since the beginning of March till the end of June, Health Minister Fearne said that there were 469 Maltese citizens and 202 foreigners. All foreigners who resulted positive to coronavirus came from 13 European Union countries and 40 other countries.

The Minister was replying to parliamentary questions by deputies Hermann Schiavone, Godfrey Farrugia and Cluadette Buttigieg. Dr Fearne stated that 10,027 persons underwent swab tests twice while 2,513 persons were tested three times.
