62 bodies recovered from the sea close to Libya

After a boat sank in Libyan waters two days ago, 62 bodies were recovered from the sea today.

The United Nations have described this as the biggest tragedy in the Mediterranean since the beginning of this year.

Over 100 other persons are still missing.

UNHCR, the United Nations agency for refugees, has called on European countries to strengthen their rescue resources in order to save lives in danger at sea.
