94 new Covid-19 cases, 219 recoveries, 30 in hospital

94 new Covid cases emerged during the past 24 hours, while 219 persons recovered from the virus. This means that there are now 1,847 active cases.

There are currently 30 patients recovering at Mater Dei. Two positive cases are being treated at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The new cases emerged from 3,483 swab tests, bringing the total of tests to 1,090,666.

The number of persons who contracted the virus is 34,295 – 31,629 of whom have recovered from the pandemic.

Until yesterday, a total of 758,252 persons received the vaccine dose, with 399,261 vaccinated with the first dose.

The number of fully vaccinated persons is now 380,927.

Average age of the 111 new cases announced on Friday was 33.

The number of Covid victims remained at 423.
