97-year-old man is the seventh Coronavirus victim in Malta

A 97-year-old old man is the seventh victim of the Coronavirus in Malta.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, it was stated that the man was being treated at Karin Grech hospital and had symptoms related to Covid-19 on 16 May and was confirmed to have been infected by the virus on 17 May.

The man died at Karin Grech hospital last night.
