Dingli residents will be able to enjoy a new open space. The Department of Works is currently working on a new open space along with parking facilities near the Dingli Swallows FC pitch. The € 600,000 project is expected to be completed this year.
During a visit, the Minister for Infrastructure Ian Borg said that an abandoned site that was an eyesore today it is being transformed into an accessible garden, with indigenous trees and plants, with exercise equipment and parking spaces for cars.
The garden and parking lot will be spread over 2,000 square metres. The car park will have space for 25 cars and the space will be accessible via ramps and special paving materials for the disabled.
