Accomplice caught on CCTV cameras when Mercedes was set on fire

Ateri Ahmed Alfurjani, a 25-year-old Libyan man who lives at the open centre in Ħal Far, has pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him in a case connected to setting a car on fire.

The Prosecution led by Inspector Jeffrey Scicluna, said that the Mercedes was set on fire on 10 November in Valletta and from CCTV footage, it results that the accused was an accomplice.

No request for bail was made.
