According to WHO, yesterday saw largest number of positive COVID-19 cases worldwide

The World Health Organisation announced that yesterday saw the largest number of Covid-19 worldwide, with more than 100,000 cases in 24 hours. To date, 5 million people have been infected.

Two-thirds of these new cases were registered in just four countries and it warned that the pandemic will last a long time. Apart from this, many countries, including the United States, are emerging from lockdown.

The most affected country in the world is the US with more than 1.5 million cases, and 92,000 deaths. The second most affected country is Russia, followed by Brazil, UK and Spain.
