Actor Alex Rocco of ‘Godfather’ fame, passes away

American actor, Alex Rocco, who is best known for his role in the film The Godfather, has died at the age of 79.

He played the role of Moe Greene, the casino boss who resisted the Mafia Boss Michael Corleone and ended up being killed with a gunshot through the eye.

During his career, Rocco won an Emmy for his role in the sitcom The Famous Teddy Z.

He was also the voice of Itchy and Scratchy in The Simpsons and provided the voice for other animated films such as Bug’s Life.

Born in 1937, in’Cambridge, Massachusetts, Rocco made his debut in the 1965 Russ Meyer film, Motor Psycho.
