Admits to theft of motorcycle in Gozo

A 19-year-old youth from St  Venera has admitted to the theft of a motorcycle from Triq Qasam San Ġorġ in Kerċem on 20 June.

The youth was arraigned in the Gozo Court and admitted to the charges.

The Prosecution conducted by Inspectors Mario Xiberras and Bernard Charles Spiteri stated that Police investigations kicked off as soon as they were notified about the theft of the motorcycle, and as a result, the alleged thief was identified and arrested.

The Court, Magistrate Simone Grech presiding, conditionally discharged the accused, binding him not to commit another crime within three years.
