Lawyer Adrian Delia, the candidate contesting the election for Nationalist Party Leader, has appeared before the PN’s Consultative Committee on Good Behaviour and Ethics on allegations made against him by Daphne Caruana Galizia. The development occurred as a result of the urgent meeting on Monday evening of the Nationalist Party’s Administrative Committee.
The Administrative Council established a two-day period so that the Ethics Committee, presided by Dr Louis Galea, presents its recommendations to the Administrative Council after hearing evidence of persons that the committee deems fit in the circumstances, in particular not only Dr Adrian Delia. Lawyer Delia has presented the fourth libel case against Daphne Caruana Galizia. He denied allegations of money laundering in connection with a prostitution ring by Maltese in London who used to rent property in which he was director.
