Air Malta’s new aircraft lands in Florence – Fiorentina team on board

Air Malta was the first airline which landed an Airbus A320neo aircraft at Florence Peretola airport.

Passengers on board the flight included players and officials of the Italian Serie A football team, Fiorentina. Fiorentina team was in Malta for a training camp and participated in a triangular tournament with Hibernians and Gżira United.

In a statement, Air Malta said that the flight was made possible after studies made by its Flights Operations team as, until today, no Airbus A32oneo had yet operated towards Florence.
