All pilgrimages cancelled

The Church in Malta has decided that no more pilgrimages will be held during this year.

The Bishops have communicated this decision after saying they had followed indications being given to the public by the competent health authorities.

This  decision was taken in the wake of Government measures which came into force yesterday,  including one which stated that pilgrimages could only be held with a maximum of 100 attendees.
