A clothes shop of Xiks company at Ħamrun was again targeted by thieves, the third time in the past five months. The shop is situated in Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp.
The shop’s owner told TVM that they were informed about the theft shortly before seven this morning when someone noted that the glass door was smashed. The thief stole around €100 in cash, and a number of clients’ documents, including credit notes, which the owner said that thief does not need.
On the 14th of last April, the female owner said that a thief forced open the shop door and stole €150, and only four days before, while Police were
on patrol at around 11.15 pm they noted a break in and the possibility of another theft from the company’s other shop, which lies opposite the one stolen last night.
