The Planning Authority has approved the building of residential blocks at St Vincent de Paule, in the limits of Luqa.
These four residential blocks will accommodate 490 residents.
The project is spread over 16,500 square metres and includes, among others, therapy pools, a hall, a reservoir, warehouses, an area for waste and a laundry area. It also includes parking for 264 vehicles.
Every block will include a dining area, a recreation area, treatment rooms and facilities for staff. The whole project will also include a chapel.
The Planning Authority Board also issued a permit for the building of a fuel station at Burmarrad, in the limits of St Paul’s Bay. This station will replace another fuel station in a residential zone in Burmarrad, which will now be dismantled.
