WATCH: Crowd disturbance at Centenary Ground after Floriana’s defeat

The Police and Civil Protection officials were called upon to intervene this evening because of a crowd disturbance at the Centenary Ground at Ta’ Qali.

TVM is informed that a substantial number of persons came to blows at the end of the football match between Floriana and Gudja United which Gudja won 2-1.

A number of Police Units had to speed to the ground to calm the situation down.

A video acquired by TVM shows supporters and Police officials intervening among a group of people who were exchanging blows.
