Arizona: Nurse who raped woman in coma apprehended after she gave birth to a boy

In Arizona, a nurse who raped a woman who had been in a coma for ten years has been apprehended.

The woman gave birth to a boy on 29 December. The baby is now being brought up by her family.

Medical staff had not noticed the woman was pregnant until the moment when she started giving birth.

36-year-old Nathan Sutherland was arrested after DNA tests were carried out and confirmed Sutherland was the father.

The Police are now investigating whether Sutherland had also abused other patients.
