UPDATED: Three men arrested on suspicion of supplying bomb which killed Daphne Caruana Galizia
TVM is informed that the Police have arrested three men suspected of having supplied the bomb allegedly used by Vince Muscat and brothers George and Alfred Degiorgio in the murder of Daphne Caruana Galizia.
Reports are stating the suspects arrested are the brothers Adrian Agius and Robert Agius, as well as Jamie Vella. It is understood the arrests took place in Baħrija (picture) and Żebbuġ.
A TVM site reader who was present during the arrests at Baħrija described that at about 1.30 pm this afternoon there were about 20 armed Police officials on the spot, wearing balaclavas, and these carried out a search and made the arrests.
The arrests took place as today during a Court session Vince Muscat admitted to the murder of Caruana Galizia. This admission by Muscat is expected to lead to further information regarding this murder and will enable Police to make further arrests in connection with this case.
