UPDATED: Person arrested in connection with shooting in Germany that left two dead

A shooting in the German city of Halle has left at least two people dead and two others injured.

A Police Spokesperson confirmed a number of gunshots had been fired. The first shot was in a kebabs shop and the second shot near a synagogue. A person has been placed under arrest but the Police believe that at least one other person was involved who fled from the scene in a vehicle.
