Australia: Prisoner hid cannabis in his nose for 18 years

In Australia, a prisoner managed to smuggle drugs into prison by hiding them in his nose.

The drugs were brought into prison by his daughter with the prisoner hiding them in his nose with a balloon to keep it fresh.

However, after he eluded prison wardens of any suspicion, he couldn’t find the drugs and was convinced he had swallowed them.

From that day, the prisoner suffered from sinus infections that blocked his nose and caused headaches.

When his condition aggravated, the prisoner sought medical attention and following a CT scan, doctors said that this was a unique case. While undergoing surgery, doctors found a balloon with cannabis fossilized in calcium that caused the sinus infections.

Since the surgery, the prisoner did not suffer any more infections.
