Australia: Two die after train derails

Two persons died when the train they were on got derailed close to the town of Wallan.

The high-speed train was travelling between Sydney and Melbourne. A number of passengers are being treated for injuries they suffered in the incident.

One person was taken to a hospital in Melbourne. It is reported that some 160 passengers were on the train at the time.
