Australian rare ram dies

In Australia, the ram named Chris which four years ago amazed people with the amount of fleece it was carrying, has died.

The ram was spotted living in the wild in Canberra in 2015 and was carrying six years worth of wool.

When the shearing process was carried out on the ram, 41.1 kilogram of fleece were removed in what was considered as a world record.

The ram died suddenly although carers said it was in good health. It was aged around 10 years and likely died of natural causes.
