Beland Band to perform at the Vatican in Rome

This week the Beland Band will be making its fourth trip in history, this time to Rome and the Vatican City.

At the invitation of the Ambassador of Malta in Rome, Vanessa Frazier, the band will be representing Maltese musical talent by performing a program under the direction of Mro Ray Sciberras. The program will be held at the prestigious Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome on Tuesday 10 September.

The following day the band will march inside the Vatican before an audience with His Holiness Pope Francisco where they will also have the chance to meet the Pope, with the coordination of Maltese Ambassador to the Vatican Frank Zammit.

This project is being carried out with the assistance of the Embassy of Malta in Rome, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Promotion and the Embassy of Malta in the Vatican
