BOV clients alarmed on finding their account balance is zero

Bank of Valletta (BOV) clients who used their Internet banking and mobile banking systems this morning were alarmed when they found that the balances in their account were zero.

TVM spoke with Bank of Valletta who told this newsroom that they had technical problems this morning in their mobile banking system.

BOV said that a technical team is working on this issues and that the situation will be brought back to normal in the shortest time possible.

In fact, bank clients have confirmed that their account balances have gone back to the way they were previously.

On its Facebook page, BOV apologised for this inconvenience.
