BREXIT: Theresa May answers Corbyn’s letter

The British PM Theresa May has answered the letter which was sent to her by the Labour Party leader, Jeremy Corbyn last week. May queried Corbyn’s call for the UK to remain in a customs union with the EU, however, she welcomed further talks with the Labour Party on a Brexit agreement before the UK leaves the European Union in less than 50 days from now.

She wants the two parties to discuss alternative arrangements for Ireland.  May did not refuse any of Corbyn’s conditions and expressed the hope that the two parties can meet as soon as possible.
