Bridge across Corradino Hill will make life easier for MCAST students

A bridge which is expected to be built across Corradino Hill, Paola, will make it easier for MCAST students and others to cross this busy road.

The bridge will also serve to reduce traffic congestion which is exacerbated by continuous use of traffic lights, particularly by students crossing to and from college.

The construction of this bridge was announced on social media by the Minister for Infrastructure Ian Borg, who said that the government also plans to embellish the surroundings, make a new pedestrian and cycling path that connects the bridge with existing bus stops, which will be changed to be closer to the bridge and path.

It was also said that the area would be equipped with CCTV cameras and lights to provide better security at any time of day.
