Budget 2020 – follow it live on TVM, Radio Malta 2 and

There is anticipation for the Budget as today the Finance Minister Edward Scicluna will present the Budget in Parliament for this year, which is the third Budget of this legislature.

TVM has prepared a special broadcasting schedule for the Budget. The transmission on TVM and on will start at around 4:45pm when the Finance Minister will go to San Anton Palace to present the Budget to President George Vella who for the first time will sign the Budget documents.  Following the speech by Minister Scicluna, the broadcast will continue with discussion programmes featuring a number of experts.

Later there will be a press conference by PM Joseph Muscat and the first reaction of the Opposition leader. In a special programme later this evening the reactions from the constituted bodies and unions will be transmitted.

The Budget speech will also be transmitted on Radio Malta 2.
