Cameras and speed bumps to control excessive noise by car enthusiasts in Marsa parking area
The transport authorities have installed a number of cameras and speed bumps in the new parking area below the Marsa Junction, with the aim of addressing an inconvenience which was being created on weekends.
Video footage published on various media had shown numerous car enthusiasts revving their car engines in this parking area.
Residents living in the vicinity who had spoken with TVM had said these drivers were inconveniencing them through the high level of noise they created.
In a reaction in recent days, the transport authorities installed a number of cameras and speed bumps with the aim of stopping this abuse.
