Cashier threatened with a knife during theft from shop in Gżira

An 18 year old cashier had to be treated for shock after a theft which was committed yesterday evening from a shop in Nazju Ellul Street, Gżira.

The theft occurred at 9.30 pm when the thief entered the shop with his face covered and brandishing a knife.

He took off with money. The cashier was treated for shock on site.
