Caught concealing 2kg of gold in shoe

A woman has been caught trying to traffic gold from Russia to China by concealing it in her shoe.

When the woman passed through a metal detector, officials found she was carrying eight pieces of gold.

The woman was carrying some two kg in weight, valued at about $78,650.

According to Russian officials, the woman appeared nervous and raised suspicions. According to the official statement, the gold was being trafficked to a Chinese person.
