Caught driving without seat belt two days after his lucky escape

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, has been caught driving without a seat belt just two days after his lucky escape in a traffic accident.

Norfolk Police pulled up the Duke, who is 97 years old, for this infringement, and warned him that he was breaking the law.

Two days ago Prince Philip was driving in excess of the speed limit when he lost control of his Land Rover Freelander and crashed into another car which had an infant as a passenger.

Luckily no serious injuries were sustained in Thursday’s accident.

Emma Fairweather, who suffered a broken wrist in the accident, stated that the Prince had not approached anyone so far to apologise for what had happened.

A spokesman for Buckingham Palace, on the other hand, stated that contact had been made with the victims of the accident.
