Caught on CCTV footage entering a residence

32-year-old Matthew Camilleri of  Gzira has been detained under arrest after pleading not guilty to theft from a residence.

The case goes back to 14 February, and occurred in Imdina Road, Attard.

It was stated in Court that accused is waiting to undergo proceedings in connection with another case.

Inspectors Mario Xiberras and Christina Delia for the Prosecution explained that an analysis of CCTV footage had shown accused coming out of a car and entering the residence. The Prosecution added that he had remained inside for about 20 minutes. Victims stated that they had seen him outside and in the common areas.

Dr Franco Debono and Dr Marion Camilleri are appearing for the defence.
