Caught stealing in Sliema in flagrante delicto

An Italian man who was caught stealing from two apartments in Sliema, was sentenced to two years imprisonment suspended for four years.

Francesco Loporcaro who resides in Paola was found in possession of the stolen goods after the police were informed that a man was loitering inside a block of apartments in Sliema.

He admitted to the charges and showed remorse for his actions. Magistrate Josette Demicoli gave the man a stern warning and told him not to steal again.
