Challenges Japanese Deputy PM to drink Fukushima water

A spokesman for the Foreign Affairs Ministry of China, Zhao Lijian, has challenged Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso to drink the water in Fukushima.

This was stated by Lijian after the Japanese Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the water from Fukushima would be safe for consumption after being treated, despite the fact that it had been in contact with the locality’s radioactive plant.

It was announced some days ago that the contaminated water from Fukushima would start being dumped gradually into the sea, with Zhao commenting that the Pacific ocean was not Japan’s waste bin.
